First, read your two chosen Object Lessons essays. Indicate which ones you chose.
Next, In the “Scavenger Hunt” podcast, Latif Nassir describes his process of finding a story. Using one of the techniques he describes, take yourself down a “rabbit hole” of research for your object.
Before you start, write a short summary of what you are thinking about your topic.
Spend at least 15 minutes going down the rabbit hole (more is okay!).
Report your findings. You can do this by keeping notes as you go and posting those. How did your thinking change as you explored the topic? How did this research scavenger hunt help (or not) with topic development?
