For this Discussion, you will explore the issues surrounding formative and summative evaluation, including what the purposes of evaluation are and how you can ensure that your evaluation provides valid and reliable data for the stated learning objectives. Begin by selecting one of the course learning objectives you have developed for Application 2. (If you have not yet done so, create at least one learning objective for your lesson.) What behavior would demonstrate that a learner has met that course learning objective? Would they demonstrate a specific skill? Solve a problem? Use information in practice? Calculate cost/benefits or grades from a test? How would you wish to evaluate this learning outcome, and for what purpose?
