Family health care is a primary care clinic that is family oriented and provides a wide variety of medical/health services to its patients within a specific area. Such medical services are offered in compassionate and personal settings where the patients are most comfortable with. A family health nurse is responsible for offering such services. In this case, a family health nurse receives specialized education meant to help patients and their families to cope with the illness, stress and/or disability. As a family health nurse, you will spend most of your time in the patients homes, and with the patient’s family.
