Do you think that boys and girls study the same time and get the same results? (25 points) Elaborate your answer using a Test of Significance:

What do you think is the most appropriate Hypothesis Test?
What is the Null Hypothesis? And Alternative Hypothesis?
Calculate the P-values. What will be your decision?

Use the list of random digits and choose a Simple Random Sample (SRS) of six. Start at the beginning of this list and attach labels to the names. What is the sample do you obtain? (15 points)
Using this sample, do you conclude the same than in question 1) ? Justify your answer. (10 points)

Assuming the variable Grade is following a Normal Distribution, with the sample in 2) estimate the population mean with a Confidence interval of 80%, 95% and 99.9%. (20 points).
Determine the relationship between the hours of study and the grade. (30 points)

Plotting a scatter diagram of the data, what does this suggest?
Calculate the linear regression equation that best fits the data and explain the independent and dependent variables.
Calculate the correlation coefficient and what does it mean.
Estimate the grade if the time of study is 4.5 hours/week.
